Been testing out Google's new Chrome browser for the last couple of days and loving it, but I just read an article by Ina Fried that noted that what ever you type in the Omni-Box or Address bar is sent to Google weather or not you hit return. Great what other surprises has it got? I was really loving it too, uber useful, simple, didn't run into any bugs, stable, looks slick bottom line Goggle made a fantastic web browser. But it's a keylogger.... I had to uninstall it even though I like it better than any of the others by far. It was creepy enough having Google and other companies trolling through our trash so to speak seeing as how we leave behind a trail on the internet looking for keywords and stuff but now they looking at the address/search bar live? Looking at it live... eh... That's different and crosses the line from tracking where you've been to pro-active spyware. Funny thing is so many people are too incompetent to see the bigger picture, whats the real problem with it? Eventually crap like this is going to lead to your insurance company and police departments installing cameras in your bedroom within my lifetime that's what wrong with it. And the death of liberty will be meet with thunderous applause.
I seriously do not understand how this fact is not getting more press.
